The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District Ilfov* was founded in 1998 through HG 535 beginning its activity in the same year.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District Ilfov, non-governmental organisation, of public utility, with autonomous character, has as purpose the promotion of the Romanian commerce and industry on internal and external plan.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District Ilfov is permanently preoccupied for a better representation and support of the business community interests from the district and involves itself directly, in the support of the economic and social development of district Ilfov, in order to consolidate the relations on central and local plan, with the public administration and with the organisations of civil society and to act for the creation of a stable and coherent business environment, for the formation of a free and competitive internal market and of a durable economy, opened towards the exterior.

THE CHAMBER`S OBJECTIVES :
- the development and diversification of the means of evaluation of the information in business;
- the systematic promotion of the services’ offer of the Chamber towards its members and economic operators who didn’t concretize yet their intention of adhesion to the Chamber;
- business consultancy (orientation of domains, opportunity, business specific conditions. etc)
- participation to concrete actions to promote the Romanian external commerce, by supporting and orientating the offers of the exporters towards certain areas of strategic interest for Romania ;
- the intensification of the information exchange between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ilfov and the other territorial Chambers regarding the investors and the investment objectives from the district.


FUTURE PREOCCUPATIONS:

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ilfov:
- collected and shall collect from the producing trading companies the offer of goods available with a view to draw up the Romanian offer of products for export;
